The New Year’s Community Drop-In Day at Rise Higher Youth Center was a wonderful way to start the new year by bringing the community together in a spirit of connection, warmth, and support.
Families, youth, and community members joined us to meet the Rise Higher team, and learn more about our programs. The event created an open and welcoming space for conversation, relationship-building, and shared vision for the future of our youth.
Most importantly, the event strengthened community awareness of Rise Higher as a safe, supportive space for youth and families. Attendees saw firsthand how the center is committed to empowering youth, fostering inclusion, and building hope and opportunity in Holly Hill and the surrounding areas.
The New Year’s Community Drop-In Day reminded us that real change begins with community — showing up, sharing space, and moving forward together with love, support, and purpose.

Movie Night
The Rise Higher Movie Outreach Event was a fun, safe, and family-friendly experience created to bring youth and families together through entertainment, connection, and community support. This event offered children and teens an opportunity to relax, enjoy a movie, and feel a sense of belonging in a positive environment.
Our movie nights are more than just watching a film — they are designed as an outreach opportunity where youth can build friendships, feel supported, and experience joy at no cost. Each event may include complimentary snacks, refreshments, and interactive moments that encourage togetherness and laughter.
The Movie Outreach Event aligns with Rise ⤴ Higher’s mission to provide inclusive, engaging, and uplifting experiences that nurture the social and emotional well-being of youth. All children are welcome, and special care is taken to ensure the atmosphere is respectful, supportive, and enjoyable for everyone.

The Rise Higher Youth Community Bonfire was a fun, safe, and engaging outdoor gathering designed to bring youth and families together in a positive community setting. This event created a welcoming space where young people could connect, relax, and enjoy meaningful moments with peers and mentors around a supervised bonfire.
The bonfire experience promotes togetherness, open conversation, and community bonding through music, games, laughter, and shared experiences. It reflects Rise ⤴ Higher’s commitment to providing safe havens where youth feel supported, valued, and inspired.

The Dance For Me Gala is a signature Rise Higher event created to celebrate every child, with a special honor dedicated to children with special needs. This sensory-friendly, inclusive gala is designed to bring children of all abilities together for an unforgettable evening of joy, confidence, and connection.
Children are invited to dress to impress and enjoy a night filled with music, dancing, and celebration in a safe and welcoming environment. Our goal is to create a space where every child feels seen, valued, and free to shine—without barriers or limitations.
In keeping with Rise Higher’s mission, the Dance For Me Gala is completely free of charge, ensuring that all families have access to this meaningful experience. More than just a dance, this event is an opportunity to build community, promote inclusion, and create lasting memories for children and their families.
We look forward to celebrating this honorable and joyful night together—because every child deserves their moment to dance, be celebrated, and feel truly included.

Community Grocery Raffle Giveaway
Through our Community Grocery Raffle Giveaway, we are bringing neighbors together to support a family in need with a full grocery bundle.
For just $1 per raffle ticket, community members can participate in this month-long raffle while helping us raise funds to purchase essential groceries for a deserving family. Every dollar donated goes directly toward providing food and household staples to support a family during a challenging time.
Small acts of kindness create big change. This grocery raffle is more than a giveaway — it’s a reminder that when a community comes together, we can lift one another up and meet real needs with compassion.
